After removing their stance on the Michael Jordan connection, Jordan Love reveals the cause of their father’s tragic demise.

Jordan Love’s remarks regarding his father encapsulate everything. Rarely do football players divulge details about their personal life. Jordan Love, the quarterback for the Packers, is different from other players, though. The profound influence his father had on his life is reflected in these words. The quarterback has a very intimate narrative that has influenced him. And it begins with Orbin Love, his father.

His parents, Orbin and Anna Love, were contentedly raising their three children prior to the birth of Jordan Love. Nevertheless, Orbin longed for a son. When they welcomed Jordan, who would eventually become the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, in 1998, that dream came true. Orbin committed suicide in July 2013, a tragic event that occurred years later. But depression wasn’t the cause. Jordan initially discussed the tragic events that led to his father’s death in a recent article titled “None of This Was Supposed to Happen” for The Players’ Tribune.

Jordan Love claims that Orbin’s demeanor was significantly altered by blood pressure medication. Love remarked, “He hadn’t been his typical self in a long time.” He was concealing all of that from us children, but the drugs he was taking had a profound effect on him. He was in a lot of pain, but they were unable to determine what was happening. According to Jordan’s mother, Anna Love, it was a “medical demon”—a menacing transformation in a man who had always been the life of the room. That light tragically went out in the summer following Jordan’s first year of high school. After a straightforward basketball game, can you imagine hearing such news?
