Shortly after her official campus visit, Saniyah Hall, the top prospect in the country for the 2026 class, announced her commitment to USC on ESPN on Friday. She is the third top recruit to pledge to USC and Lindsay Gottlieb in as many years.
Considering the state of the program when Gottlieb took over in 2021, that is an incredible accomplishment. However, Gottlieb has undoubtedly been the best coach in women’s college basketball at attracting elite players since acquiring Watkins in November 2022. “It felt like home going there,” Hall stated on ESPN’s “NBA Today.” “All of my future teammates were adored by me. It’s a lot of joy to be among the girls there. Additionally, I have developed a friendship with Lindsay [Gottlieb], who is undoubtedly there to support me. She is an excellent coach.
